The advantage of a CEREC restoration is that you can have your tooth restoration done in one day. There is no need to wear temporaries, you'll have less shots, drilling and less time out of your busy schedule.
Most Raleigh area dentists that are restoring your tooth with a porcelain crown would have to send your tooth impressions away to a dental lab and provide you with a temporary tooth until the permanent porcelain crown came back from the lab. This can take up to two weeks and would require a second visit to your dentist to permanently cement the crown.
